Erika was a winner in the Graduate Division of the OU Concerto Competition
playing the 1st mvmt of the Hummel Concerto on her new Moosmann!! Please
send congratulations to her. She is very excited--kept calling me on both
phones until I answered!--and is the first student to win the
competition at both the undergrad and grad levels, 2005-06 and 2007-08!!
She is the
4th bassoonist to win the Competition since 1992!!
