How to Order!

The Miller "Select Reserve" cane and reeds are a result of careful attention to the processing and manufacturing. The reeds are very responsive in all registers with clear, dark tone. The special tip and spine profiles allow for unusually clean articulation while maintaining a wide range of dynamics. The cane is meticulously finished and yields consistent results with a density that gives the clear dark tone and the flexibility for responsiveness.

The Miller Private Stock cane comes from the southern part of the "Var" region and is "Organic". The cane has not been given any chemical fertilizer or any kind of pesticide.
The cane fields have warm summers and mild winters, which yield a cane that produces warmer sound quality but with the right amount of hardness and workability.

Miller Select Reserve Oboe Reeds

… hand made for us by a professional oboe player, each reed is designed to respond well, with good intonation and a clear dark tone without the usual adjusting that is always needed! Our philosophy is that good oboe reeds either play or they don’t play … and as such, each has been thoroughly tested and has our general description of "medium" strength. Excellent choice for beginning to intermediate players … even pros!

 MSROR  $15
